Aprendiz de Fembra was part of the research project "a critique on body, race and gender with a Colombian perspective" which result was the magazine Cosmopolitican. The essay explores my personal experience as a latina and colombian woman in the dating and party scene of Medellin. I played with stereotypes of behaviour, fashion, culture and love for a period of five months and while dating mostly white men that are in holidays in colombia; tried to understand better the dynamics of power and the intersections of race and gender in the intimate space.
